080 BARCELONA FASHION WEEK PART II

BCN FW II. Second day and the BCNFW was going to start with loads of fashion shows and new nacional brands and promises (young designers) for the fashion industry. It was a bit cold morning, sunny but cold, we have to wait until the time to open doors and go to our sits, it was the first time I was in Born Centre Cultural, just got inside and it was so surprising see how the architecture makes feel you was in old times and also modernized for an actual fashion week, two feelings in one. In spite of the cold (we had a soft blankets), I really enjoyed. It was so cool to see some old designers with new ideas as the new ones.

Krizia Robustella F/W 2014

I was a bit desesperated to see her new collection, last one "Banana is my bussiness" was amazing, tonnes of colors, prints, funny and so original accessories as the hairstyles and makeups, a total explosion of "flavors" but for your eyes! And that nice music played in the background... such nice memories and expectation for the new one collection!
So this year K.R. wanted to introduce us in her style again, I think her first inspiration for "The Hot Snow Patrol " -as she named her collection-, was the Miró's paintings, (catalan painter and artist) mixing abstract prints with geometrical figures, as tringles, circles, squares, lines in every way. exploding with premium colors and also the famous black&white in azthec prints for tigh-fitting fabrics, very elastic I think for have more moving as those cool white Reeboks sneakers as acessories and for the cold sunshines the mirrored sunglasses which was so fashionable last season and sure this fall/winter will rock again. And about the beauty trends, prefectly for fall/winter, soft makeup with natural colors for lips and blush and for hair high ponytails.

Selim de Somavilla F/W 2014

It was going to be my first time seeing his great collections and I didn't want to miss it. So as the lastest collection what I saw on the net, S.S presented "Down Town" truly for the next fall/winter, the perfecto jackets  was in almost every look, the more famous colors were blacks, some browns, blue marine, gray, earth colors (dark oranges, clay color, etc) and various shades of burgundy. The fabrics were lush, jackets with tweed, patent leather, black and burgundy leather, some faux fur and fluffy fabrics, sheer fabrics and for accessories wide- brimmed and cowboys hat with some metal appliquès in dark colors, and for feet oxfords and chunky boots as more common.

Natalie Capell F/W 2014

This woman had a peculiar style, so femenine and elegant, but also so vintage just for those big personalities who will wear her designs for important events, as a red carpet, awards or perfomances.
I am just supposing about the inspirational topics these designers get, but in this collection I can say, Jane Austen and english old style was present. Soft, delicate, vaporous fabrics as sheer, tulle, velvet, lace and lingerie where used for sinuos and maybe innocent silhouettes, long dresses with seductor but "covered" front necklines as in the back or in the lady way, peter pan or baby necks with some jewelry touches. Joined with long gloves, headgears, hair tied back styles with natural makeup, red or pink lips and soft and dark shaded for the eyes.

Brain&Beast F/W 2014
These nice three guys never dissapoint. "LOVE" the name of the collection, presented a variety in bright colors, very nice for fall/winter because people is used to wear just one kind of colors, dark ones, so they broke the patterns with colors as Klein blue, mustard, ocher, some shades of red, black&white, mixed with animal or ethnic prints. Oversize or bomber jackets and coats, swag hoddies, denim, fluffy and thick fabrics, some asymmetric cuts, frills and folds, combined with sneakers inspired in the Supergas and Lacoste shoes, retro sunglasses and for makeup and hairstyle, worky ponytails, natural faces with red lips.
